Today’s Entry DoorsPlastpro fiberglass Fir grain Craftsman style entry door with sidelight. Model DRF3C with Solstice glass and composite frame. Stained Dark Mahogany. Installed in Huntington Beach, CA home.
Tim Andersen ArchitectNew porch is big enough for seating. Entry is covered but open above windows for more light. Like many bungalow era porches we embellished it with extra care and detail. Tops of exposed beams are capped. Lamp black was used to tone-down concrete and mortar, just as builders did 100 years ago!

Meriwether IncThis 1919 bungalow was lovingly taken care of but just needed a few things to make it complete. The owner, an avid gardener wanted someplace to bring in plants during the winter months. Hendrixson's FurnitureA beautiful Syracuse Stickley sideboard anchors the hand laid stone wall. To the right begins the windowed grand hallway which leads you through the entire home from side to side.
Melissa Galt InteriorsThis is the front entry and the chest is an easy place to drop keys or mail, including stashing it in the drawers for sudden clean up when company arrives. The wrought iron adds an openness and visual texture. The leather chairs can be easily pulled into the dining room for extra seating or into the great room as desired. The Arts and Crafts Tiffany style lighting throughout both adds colors and ties the them together. The rug is a flat weave that is reversible. We used a family of these rugs for durability, easy care, warmth, and great color.
