Archaeo ArchitectsThis home, which earned three awards in the Santa Fe 2011 Parade of Homes, including best kitchen, best overall design and the Grand Hacienda Award, provides a serene, secluded retreat in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The architecture recedes back to frame panoramic views, and light is used as a form-defining element. Paying close attention to the topography of the steep lot allowed for minimal intervention onto the site. While the home feels strongly anchored, this sense of connection with the earth is wonderfully contrasted with open, elevated views of the Jemez Mountains. As a result, the home appears to emerge and ascend from the landscape, rather than being imposed on it.
Concrete CraftConcrete stamped designed floors in boardwalk plank patterns are perfect for those who love the look of wood flooring, but hate all the maintenance.
Michael SolariCompanyExisting home lacked a foyer. A new Entry Gallery was created with a 10 ft ceiling to define the entry and provide a new entrance to the Master Suite.

Handcrafted CarpentryThis coat rack was made from Red Oak harvested and milled from Tennessee. The bench is Walnut harvested from the same area. It is highly functional with mortise and tenon joinery throughout.
Sno Valley CottagesThe polished concrete floors with leaves that were imprinted by nature on the windy day of the concrete pour. The slab is a radiant slab with a Sanden Heat pump system providing the hot water.
