HomeSource BuildersDeep in the woods, this mountain cabin just outside Asheville, NC, was designed as the perfect weekend getaway space. The owner uses it as an Airbnb for income. From the wooden cathedral ceiling to the nature-inspired loft railing, from the wood-burning free-standing stove, to the stepping stone walkways—everything is geared toward easy relaxation. For maximum interior space usage, the sleeping loft is accessed via an outside stairway.

Absolute Project ManagementThe new bathroom was allocated in the space that was previously used for a storage space, being a bigger bathroom than the previous one. Almost all fittings in the space were preloved, adding a lovely traditional touch and warmth to the room. The vanity was created from an old work unit, shortened in height to an adequate bathroom size, and fitted with plumbing required. The reclaimed floor tiles are a stunning addition to the room, adding warmth and a real sense of vibrancy. The boiler cupboard was fitted around a pre-loved wood door in a traditional panelled style, working seamlessly in the space. A new toilet was purchased in a traditional floor-mounted style, to be in keeping with the other fittings throughout. The clients styled the art works and decor throughout themselves, making the space an altogether lovely, cosy one. Discover more here:

Viemme61®la spa si presenta come un grande open space che accoglie zona relax, sauna, vasca idromassaggio, zona lavabo, bagno e guardaroba. I colori sono tenui per le pareti e si gioca nei contrasti per arredi e complementi. Protagonista è anche la luce: tagli luminosi delimitano le aree e guidano al percorso di accesso. Il legno nelle sue sfumature è protagonista nella pedana, che accoglie la zona relax, e nella sauna con vetrata angolare.
hansen innenarchitekturDurch den Einbau einer zusätzlichen Tür haben die Eltern jetzt direkten Zugang vom Schlafzimmer zum Bad ohne einen Umweg über den Flur. Den Platz unter der Dachschräge nutzten wir für den Einbau der Wanne. Sie ist in ein großzügiges Podest mit Stufe eingelassen. Für mehr Licht wurde über der Wanne ein neues Dachflächenfenster eingesetzt. Als praktischer Nebeneffekt entstand so mehr Kopffreiheit in der Wanne. Das Podest zieht sich bis in die danebenliegende Dusche und dient dort als Sitzplatz und Ablage. Als Duschabtrennung kommen nur zwei Festglaselemente zum Einsatz, aufgrund der Größe der Dusche und der großen Freifläche davor hat sich das als völlig ausreichend erwiesen. Die Waschtische sind an die Stirnwand der Gaube gerückt. So genießen die Kunden bei der Benutzung nun den Blick über Bäume und Felder. Der Spiegel – mit integrierter Beleuchtung – wurde einfach an die rechte Seitenwand der Gaube gesetzt. Diese Position hat den Vorteil, dass die Kunden sehr nah an den Spiegel herantreten können, ohne sich über das Becken beugen zu müssen. Die Wand gegenüber der Gaube ist in einem Petrolton abgesetzt, ein großer Handtuchheizkörper und ein gleich großer Spiegel sind dort montiert. Die Dachschräge rechts neben der Gaube war nicht breit genug, um sie offen sinnvoll nutzen zu können, daher ließen wir sie schließen. Vom Schreiner wurde dort ein Schrank flächenbündig eingelassen. An der Kopfseite fand das WC seinen Platz, direkt an der Tür und trotzdem in einer „gemütlichen“ Ecke abgesetzt vom Rest des Raumes.

Aujourd'hui, ce bien lui appartient et il souhaitait se le réapproprier en rénovant chaque pièce. Coup de cœur pour la cuisine ouverte et sa petite verrière et la salle de bain black & white
