Cathie Hong InteriorsWe updated this century-old iconic Edwardian San Francisco home to meet the homeowners' modern-day requirements while still retaining the original charm and architecture. The color palette was earthy and warm to play nicely with the warm wood tones found in the original wood floors, trim, doors and casework.
Addison Grace DesignThe built in vanity is created with a medium oak colour and adorned with black faucets and handles under a white quartz countertop. Two identical mirrors under black lights adds a moody feel to the ensuite. The under cabinet lighting helps to accentuate the embossed pattern on the hexagon floor tiles
Sharer Design Group LLCLuxurious custom cabinetry and millwork is the centerpiece of this resort-worthy main bathroom ensuite. Bakes & Kropp Fine Cabinetry in the Canterbury door style, featured in elegant walnut in a fossil matte finish, creates a refined and relaxing mood. A double-sink vanity, oversized linen cabinet and a custom vertical unit (complete with clever jewelry storage!) makes this room as practical as it is luxurious! This bathroom is resort living in the comfort of your own home!
Blythe InteriorsThese first-time parents wanted to create a sanctuary in their home, a place to retreat and enjoy some self-care after a long day. They were inspired by the simplicity and natural elements found in wabi-sabi design so we took those basic elements and created a spa-like getaway.
ONE eleven ltd.We developed a design utilizing organic materials to deliver a Master Bathroom that fulfilled the homeowners wishes of capturing the essence of a memorable vacation retreat. The subtle shine of the polished tile contrasts beautifully with the rich color of the Cherrywood cabinets and the salvaged Teak* wood slats; these elements when intermingled with the bold matte black finishes bring about the perfect balance, creating an inviting retreat after a long day.
*Teak slats: sourced from vintage buildings in Southeast Asia
Lori Dennis Interior DesignLarge and modern master bathroom primary bathroom. Grey and white marble paired with warm wood flooring and door. Expansive curbless shower and freestanding tub sit on raised platform with LED light strip. Modern glass pendants and small black side table add depth to the white grey and wood bathroom. Large skylights act as modern coffered ceiling flooding the room with natural light.
Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncAnother update project we did in the same Townhome community in Culver city. This time more towards Modern Farmhouse / Transitional design.
Kitchen cabinets were completely refinished with new hardware installed. The black island is a great center piece to the white / gold / brown color scheme.
The Master bathroom was transformed from a plain contractor's bathroom to a true modern mid-century jewel of the house. The black floor and tub wall tiles are a fantastic way to accent the white tub and freestanding wooden vanity.
Notice how the plumbing fixtures are almost hidden with the matte black finish on the black tile background.
The shower was done in a more modern tile layout with aligned straight lines.
The hallway Guest bathroom was partially updated with new fixtures, vanity, toilet, shower door and floor tile.
that's what happens when older style white subway tile came back into fashion. They fit right in with the other updates.
