Annette Jaffe InteriorsOur Long Island studio used a bright, neutral palette to create a cohesive ambiance in this beautiful lower level designed for play and entertainment. We used wallpapers, tiles, rugs, wooden accents, soft furnishings, and creative lighting to make it a fun, livable, sophisticated entertainment space for the whole family. The multifunctional space has a golf simulator and pool table, a wine room and home bar, and televisions at every site line, making it THE favorite hangout spot in this home.

Synergy Design & ConstructionThe space under the basement stairs was opened up to create a niche with built-in drawers and a bench top perfectly sized for a twin mattress. A recessed bookshelf, extendable sconce, and a nearby outlet complete the mini-refuge.
Gonyea Custom HomesFinished basement with many options for entertaining. A home bar, fireplace, and room for table games.

The CousinsThe new basement is the ultimate multi-functional space. A bar, foosball table, dartboard, and glass garage door with direct access to the back provide endless entertainment for guests; a cozy seating area with a whiteboard and pop-up television is perfect for Mike's work training sessions (or relaxing!); and a small playhouse and fun zone offer endless possibilities for the family's son, James.
Ashton WoodsAnyone can have fun in this game room with a pool table, arcade games and even a SLIDE from upstairs! (Designed by Artisan Design Group)
ELM Construction LLCThe homeowners were ready to renovate this basement to add more living space for the entire family. Before, the basement was used as a playroom, guest room and dark laundry room! In order to give the illusion of higher ceilings, the acoustical ceiling tiles were removed and everything was painted white. The renovated space is now used not only as extra living space, but also a room to entertain in.
