Dining Room: Hand blown glass globes and a custom steel canopy allow this lighting fixture to be subtle enough not to intrude on the space yet be strong enough to stand up to the powerful views beyond.

The aesthetically minimalist dining area is complemented by an aluminium profile over the dining table. The profile required custom made brackets to hang it from the roof glazing bars without compromising the water tightness of the roof and to blend in with its wood finish. The vertical glazing bars at the front of the conservatory are uplit by colour changing LEDs which are usually set to give a very soft pink glow which lifts the whole of this end of the house, but in party mode they can be vibrant pink or turquoise. Lighting control is by Lutron Homeworks. Photo courtety of Simon Warren

We turned one open space into two distinct spaces. The home owner opted to have the pianist face away from the room in order to allow for more seating. The goal was to enhance the home owners suite of inherited wood furniture by adding color and art. Interior Design by AJ Margulis Interiors. Photos by Paul Bartholomew
Oakland, California-based floral designer Pilar Zuniga of Gorgeous & Green added glossy ferns and grevillea foliage to her vivid collection of dahlias and companion blooms for a brilliant centerpiece.
