Cabinet-S-TopThis laundry / mud room was created with optimal storage using Waypoint 604S standard overlay cabinets in Painted Cashmere color with a raised panel door. The countertop is Wilsonart in color Betty. A Blanco Silgranit single bowl top mount sink with an Elkay Pursuit Flexible Spout faucet was also installed.
Room ResolutionsThe existing laundry room needed a total face-lift, including new white cabinetry; new GE appliances and a large laundry tub sink to facilitate easily completed chores. The large scale, 24” floor tiles help create a roomy feeling, so as not to feel trapped in what seemed like a dungeon previously. Unexpected lighting of a hanging, chain lantern adds to the brightness and character to a workspace.

Doreen Schweitzer Interiors, Ltd.Sage green beadboard with a ledge molding designed with a place for hooks to hang clothing is decorative as well as functional. Cabinetry is also Sage Green and the design includes space for folding and a sewing desk. The floor tile is ceramic in a terra cotta style.
