Laundry room showing different counter height. This particular room has a built-in ironing board for convenience.

Recently completed laundry room for a 17th century Manor House.
This laundry room is finished with the same care and attention afforded to of any of our bespoke kitchens and consists of 4 main elements: a laundry island, a washer/dryer cabinet, a drying rack and a cabinet /sink combination. The cabinets are finished in Clunch by Farrow and Ball.
The laundry island with its stopped chamfer legs and rails is made from a combination of solid painted poplar and solid beech with a matte black granite worktop. The 4 wicker laundry baskets housed beneath can be used to separate, whites, darks, colours, delicates etc. or alternatively one for each member of the household.
The washer dryer cabinet houses a Miele Professional washer /dryer with venting panel above and shallow cupboard to the right.
The drying rack made of solid oak is the perfect solution to drying wet coats or washing by hanging them on the oak bars which sit above a sealed heating element to speed up drying.
The butler sink unit sits adjacent to a run comprising of full length cabinets, perfect for hoover and ironing board as well as solid oak drawers and shelving for cleaning products etc.

With a busy working lifestyle and two small children, Burlanes worked closely with the home owners to transform a number of rooms in their home, to not only suit the needs of family life, but to give the wonderful building a new lease of life, whilst in keeping with the stunning historical features and characteristics of the incredible Oast House.
found these spanish floor tiles and wanted to combine the color with bright blue cabinets and white countertop to make the laundry room bright and sunny.
This laundry room serves multiple uses, including designated drawers and plenty of counters for crafts and wrapping projects, and a walk out to an outdoor potting area with a custom zinc top.
