Angie Amato Wieland Architecture LLCWhat an amazing transformation that took place on this original 1100 sf kit house, and what an enjoyable project for a friend of mine! This Woodlawn remodel was a complete overhaul of the original home, maximizing every square inch of space. The home is now a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with a large living room, dining room, kitchen, guest bedroom, and a master bedroom with walk-in closet. While still a way off from retiring, the owner wanted to make this her forever home, with accessibility and aging-in-place in mind. The design took cues from the owner's antique furniture, and bold colors throughout create a vibrant space.
G&M Craftsman CabinetsWhen the collaboration between client, builder and cabinet maker comes together perfectly the end result is one we are all very proud of. The clients had many ideas which evolved as the project was taking shape and as the budget changed. Through hours of planning and preparation the end result was to achieve the level of design and finishes that the client, builder and cabinet expect without making sacrifices or going over budget. Soft Matt finishes, solid timber, stone, brass tones, porcelain, feature bathroom fixtures and high end appliances all come together to create a warm, homely and sophisticated finish. The idea was to create spaces that you can relax in, work from, entertain in and most importantly raise your young family in. This project was fantastic to work on and the result shows that why would you ever want to leave home?
Medford RemodelingThe original kitchen was a bit longer, but it lacked the walk-in pantry that Dave and his wife both wanted. Dave decided it was worth it to use some of the square footage from the kitchen to build a pantry alongside his custom refrigerator cabinet. Adding a cabinet around the fridge created a sleek built-in look and also provided some additional cabinet storage on top. A cool and creative feature that Dave incorporated in the design is a sheet of metal on the side panel of the fridge cabinet – a perfect place to keep their magnet collection and post-it notes!
The custom cabinets above the washer and dryer compliment the new modern look of the kitchen while also providing better storage space for laundry-related items. This area is also much brighter with an LED can light directly over the work area.

La Costa Cabinets & DesignKeeping the machines where they were, storage was updated to include a broom closet and a small pantry, as well as folding space. A large window floods the space with light, reflecting off the white cabinets, white subway tile backsplash, and hexagonal white marble floor tiles. Baby blue walls and a blue patterned accent tile adds contrast and interest.
Meyer DesignAdorable farmhouse laundry room with shaker cabinets and subway tile backsplash. The wallpaper wall adds color and fun to the space.

Tracy Berman InteriorsThe laundry room is all white with a fun marble subway tile and a unique floor tile pattern that transitions into the wood floor. This room is highly functional with its large countertop space for those long laundry days.

ImprovaThe laundry room is meticulously arranged to optimise space and workflow. The hanging rail offers a practical solution for air-drying clothes. The overall design of the laundry room emphasises functionality without compromising on aesthetics.
Atelier E'décoRénovation de la buanderie pour en faire également une salle d'eau au rez de chaussée. Le mur du fond a été revetu du même tadelakt que le mur du fond de la cuisine.
L'ensemble à été pensé pour gagner de la lumière (exposition nord) et de la place. Un vieux vaisselier peu profond à été upcyclé par l'Atelier E'déco pour faire un rangement conséquent et adapté à la pièce. La douche est revetue de carreaux style métro blanc pour l'aspect vintage.
Kitchens by KempA copse green shaker kitchen with oak and copper elements throughout. This kitchen features a secret utility area with washer, dryer and boiler all covered by the furniture. The large worktop standing boiler cabinet is divided into sections to create a more functional storage space.
