Closet Factory ChicagoMulti-Functional and beautiful Laundry/Mudroom. Laundry folding space above the washer/drier with pull out storage in between. Storage for cleaning and other items above the washer/drier.
JWT AssociatesThe laundry room is added on to the original house. The cabinetry is custom designed with blue laminate doors. The floor tile is from WalkOn Tile in LA. Caesarstone countertops.
Hierarchy Architecture + Design, PLLCThe laundry room / mudroom in this updated 1940's Custom Cape Ranch features a Custom Millwork mudroom closet and shaker cabinets. The classically detailed arched doorways and original wainscot paneling in the living room, dining room, stair hall and bedrooms were kept and refinished, as were the many original red brick fireplaces found in most rooms. These and other Traditional features were kept to balance the contemporary renovations resulting in a Transitional style throughout the home. Large windows and French doors were added to allow ample natural light to enter the home. The mainly white interior enhances this light and brightens a previously dark home.

Design Actually, LLCAmple storage and function were an important feature for the homeowner. Beth worked in unison with the contractor to design a custom hanging, pull-out system. The functional shelf glides out when needed, and stores neatly away when not in use. The contractor also installed a hanging rod above the washer and dryer. You can never have too much hanging space! Beth purchased mesh laundry baskets on wheels to alleviate the musty smell of dirty laundry, and a broom closet for cleaning items. There is even a cozy little nook for the family dog.
