Mid-century was the peak of Palm Springs glamour, and the inspiration behind this room designed by Beth Dotolo and Carolina Gentry. The angular lines of the Seagram® Freestanding Soaking Tub made it a dynamic focal point for their design. Behind it lies the tropical indoor/ outdoor shower, a refreshing expression of desert modernism. Bright whites, bursts of colors and organic patterns are all set off by a few rich hits of quirky fun, setting the tone for a true sense of leisure that’s as timeless today as it was yesterday.

When the floor in this carpeted bath became spongy we removed the carpeting and replaced the subflooring. Our daughter had a design idea in mind and ask if we could make it happen. We settled on a concrete overlay system on the floor. We realized during the demo that the old ceramic tile on the walls wasn't going to fit into the design so we demo'd out the old tile and continued our concrete overlay up the walls which included the shower. The finished look was awsome. T and C Services Ltd
Using the existing cabinet in this space, we painted it with a metallic silver paint. The three mirrors were made custom to accommodate the existing tile. The wallpaper is from Romo.
