An amazing social space incorporating the kitchen, an island to seat 6, a liquid metal bar, wine storage and a 10 person dining table. All the furniture was over-sized to suit the scale of the room and the 3 metre high ceilings.

We were commissioned to design a Classic Bespoke Shaker Home Bar for the living space of a recently extended 1920’s single storey property in Haslemere, Surrey. This was part of a home refurbishment project where we also designed the kitchen, utility room and boot room. We were recommended to the clients by Hampshire-based interior designers, Emily Steen and Danielle Marsh, founders of Wells and Maguire, with whom we have collaborated on numerous previous projects, and who created the overall interior design scheme. While designed to look as if it is freestanding, this home bar is fully built in. It includes electrics for lighting and to power the integrated wine fridge, and it is also plumbed-in to the mains water system. Separated into two parts by a 30mm Misty Carrara Satinato quartz worktop, which is the surface material also used in the kitchen, the upper cabinet features double bi-fold fluted glass glazed doors with butt hinges that fold back fully into the right and left-hand panels. When folded, the interior bar is revealed, with a bronze antique mirrored glass back panel and two glazed walnut-edged shelves for glasses and cocktail items. These are above a deeper central area above the worktop that includes a slim copper undermount sink by 1810, with a lever tap in a matching finish on the right-hand side. LED spotlights are embedded at the top of the walnut veneered carcase, and LED strips are at the base of each shelf to create a stylish ambiance when entertaining. Beneath the worktop are storage cabinets to one side of a central 60cm integrated wine fridge by mQuvee, with a concealed 45cm integrated dishwasher by Siemens next to a bin cabinet on the other.

Open shelving is set against a decorative wallpaper backing and illuminated with integrated LED lighting. The cabinetry in Little Greene Lamp Black 228 frames the display, with antique brass Corston Kilburn hardware continuing the material language from the kitchen. Bottles and glassware are arranged across two shelves, combining display storage with practical access.

Part of a multi-room project consisting of: kitchen, utility, media furniture, entrance hall and master bedroom furniture, situated within a modern renovation of a traditional stone built lodge on the outskirts of county Durham. the clean lines of our contemporary linear range of furniture -finished in pale grey and anthracite, provide a minimalist feel while contrasting elements emulating reclaimed oak add a touch of warmth and a subtle nod to the property’s rural surroundings.

Breakfast Nook, London

We had the privilege of transforming the kitchen space of a beautiful Grade 2 listed farmhouse located in the serene village of Great Bealings, Suffolk. The property, set within 2 acres of picturesque landscape, presented a unique canvas for our design team. Our objective was to harmonise the traditional charm of the farmhouse with contemporary design elements, achieving a timeless and modern look. For this project, we selected the Davonport Shoreditch range. The kitchen cabinetry, adorned with cock-beading, was painted in 'Plaster Pink' by Farrow & Ball, providing a soft, warm hue that enhances the room's welcoming atmosphere. The countertops were Cloudy Gris by Cosistone, which complements the cabinetry's gentle tones while offering durability and a luxurious finish. The kitchen was equipped with state-of-the-art appliances to meet the modern homeowner's needs, including: - 2 Siemens under-counter ovens for efficient cooking. - A Capel 90cm full flex hob with a downdraught extractor, blending seamlessly into the design. - Shaws Ribblesdale sink, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal. - Liebherr Integrated tall fridge, ensuring ample storage with a sleek design. - Capel full-height wine cabinet, a must-have for wine enthusiasts. - An additional Liebherr under-counter fridge for extra convenience. Beyond the main kitchen, we designed and installed a fully functional pantry, addressing storage needs and organising the space. Our clients sought to create a space that respects the property's historical essence while infusing modern elements that reflect their style. The result is a pared-down traditional look with a contemporary twist, achieving a balanced and inviting kitchen space that serves as the heart of the home. Tournant le dos à la terrasse malgré la porte-fenêtre qui y menait, l’agencement de la cuisine de ce bel appartement marseillais ne convenait plus aux propriétaires. La porte-fenêtre a été déplacée de façon à se retrouver au centre de la façade. Une fenêtre simple l’a remplacée, ce qui a permis d’installer l’évier devant et de profiter ainsi de la vue sur la terrasse.. Dissimulés derrière un habillage en plaqué chêne, le frigo et les rangements ont été rassemblés sur le mur opposé. C’est le contraste entre le papier peint à motifs et la brillance des zelliges qui apporte couleurs et fantaisie à cette cuisine devenue bien plus fonctionnelle pour une grande famille !. One wowee kitchen! Designed for a family with Sri-Lankan and Singaporean heritage, the brief for this project was to create a Scandi-Asian styled kitchen. The design features ‘Skog’ wall panelling, straw bar stools, open shelving, a sofia swing, a bar and an olive tree.

Bespoke, built in home bar

This project focused on transforming a tired basement into a vibrant and welcoming space for entertaining and relaxing. We reimagined the original bar area with new cabinetry, mirrored backdrops, and warm lighting to create a stylish focal point, while the rest of the room was redecorated to bring cohesion and energy through bold colour choices, soft textures, and layered lighting. The result is a versatile, sociable space that now feels inviting and connected to the rest of the home.

This extraordinary bespoke alcohol unit is more than just a piece of furniture; it's a heartfelt tribute to family unity. The design incorporates symbolic elements, with two bird wall lamps and one floor lamp representing the client's three children. The floor lamp, resembling a fledgling ready to take flight, symbolizes the eldest child's journey towards independence. The cabinet's dual structure mirrors the parents' nurturing role, while the interlocking brass rods evoke the image of a strong, enduring family tree. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the unit features a wine rack, wine fridge compartments, and elegant marble cabinets. This one-of-a-kind creation is a testament to the power of design to evoke emotion and celebrate cherished relationships.

In the basement bar, practical LVT flooring works with the industrial feel of the room. The bar itself was designed using a mix of Dekton, with alcoves for drinks and records to be displayed and a gold worktop for the bar itself and the cupboards.
