Aria Stone GalleryThis masculine and modern Onyx Nuvolato marble bar and feature wall is perfect for hosting everything from game-day events to large cocktail parties. The onyx countertops and feature wall are backlit with LED lights to create a warm glow throughout the room. The remnants from this project were fashioned to create a matching backlit fireplace. Open shelving provides storage and display, while a built in tap provides quick access and easy storage for larger bulk items.
Fran Kerzner- DESIGN SYNTHESISThe wood is a flat-cut walnut, run horizontally. The bar was redesigned in the same wood with onyx countertops. The open shelves are embedded with LED lighting.
The clients also wanted to be able to eat dinner in the room while watching TV but there was no room for a regular dining table so we designed a custom silver leaf bar table to sit behind the sectional with a custom 1 1/2" Thinkglass art glass top.
We also designed a custom walnut display unit for the clients books and collectibles as well as four cocktail table /ottomans that can easily be rearranged to allow for the recliners.
New dark wood floors were installed and a custom wool and silk area rug was designed that ties all the pieces together.
We designed a new coffered ceiling with lighting in each bay. And built out the fireplace with dimensional tile to the ceiling.
The color scheme was kept intentionally monochromatic to show off the different textures with the only color being touches of blue in the pillows and accessories to pick up the art glass.

Denise Quade DesignWalnut countertops were used at bar height and feature a curved bar rail on the sitting edge. Back lit onyx was inlaid into the wood frame for a stunning display.
Denise Quade DesignLighting plays a key role in this home bar. LED tape lighting was used in the wall cabinets behind the leaded glass panels, in the toe space of the base cabinets, under neath the onyx countertops that were inlaid into the wood frame that features the bar rail.
Elite Kitchen & Bath/Express ContractingThis amazing European bistro style bar sits in the middle of an open concept Manhattan apartment. The light column and metallic paint add a festive showy theme to this entertaining space. The curve of the bar – We built a curved plaster soffit to mimic the curve of the bar. We placed the wall paper on one section of the sheet rock soffit. Creating the curve takes skill and precision.
Bar area installation included a semi precious agate stone countertop, fabric sandwiched backsplash and custom pullouts for alcohol. The bar has a lighted lower level counter space for mixing drinks. And with the unique light column, it would be hard to break a glass.
