A deceptively simple-looking rear extension belies the complex reconfiguration needed for this four-story home in Weston. We created a more spacious kitchen-dining area, added a feature shower room, and reconfigured the stairs to create a second living room. This adapted a much-loved family home to accommodate growing children for the next 10-20 years. Working with fantastic clients, we achieved a wonderful result. The team at One Property Design designed and created this immaculate modern Hamptons inspired home. The use of cool greys and modern features ensures this home is nothing short of spectacular. Every detail has been attended to and the view of the Brisbane skyline is featured throughout. Intrim SK72 Skirting 185x18mm, Intrim SK72 Architraves 66x18mm, Intrim CR25 Chair rail and Intrim IN13 Inlay mould were used throughout.

Nous avons utilisé cet ancien placard, pour créer un nouvel espace : un bar à cocktail. Notre client souhaitait redonner un sens à cette zone de la maison et avoir un lieu de rassemblement entre amis. Ici tout est à portée de main pour laisser libre cours à la créativité des papilles. Les meubles sont adaptés pour coller parfaitement à l'espace disponible, la cave à vin est incorporée dans les rangements, les étagères mettent en valeur les belles bouteilles des propriétaires. L'espace est ouvert sur le salon et vert la baie vitrée donnant sur la piscine.

These clients contacted us to help them design a forever home that would not only suit their current needs but also their needs in the future. The existing double-storey home was lacking storage and personality, and was not practical for the client's lifestyle. The starting point for the renovation was the addition of a lift at the entrance, which prompted a number of changes to the kitchen, powder and ensuite upstairs to make it all work. The rooms were redesigned to maximise all available space, and we were able to greatly improve the functionality of the spaces. Drawing on the client's existing furniture and personal style, we selected finishes and fixtures that have interesting nature-inspired textures, colours and patterns. Polytec Notaio Walnut was used throughout all joinery to add warmth and texture to the spaces. This was paired with Quantum Quartz Statuario Quartz for contrast and Meir Champagne tapware to tie into the warm tones. Soothing green tones were also used throughout the first floor, mostly in the form of feature kit-kat mosaic tiles.

In diretta linea operativa l’angolo bar, realizzato su progetto La rotazione a 180 della anta posta nel basso, rende possibile che la stessa venga utilizzato come piano di appoggio per la preparazione dei cocktail, il movimento dell’apertura vene enfatizzato dalla installazione dalla dinamica apertura a ruota di tessuto plissettano rosso, che come un pop up teatralizza la scoperta delle bibite, dichiaratamente ispirato al ricordo dei ventagli decorativi dei cocktail tipici degli anni 80. L’ anta superiore, invece, si spiega a 270 gradi ponendosi in verticale rispetto al mobile e come una insegna segnala l’open bar.
