Clawson CabinetsIt has been dubbed the "Scullery Area" and is part Butler's Pantry/Part Wet Par/Part Coffee station. It provides a second sink and dishwasher for clean up after larger family events and the pocket doors and lift doors provide storage at counter level and a way to hide the various countertop appliances that are necessary but not always the most glamorous. The coffee and tea station holds everything you need with easy access to the family room and refrigerator. It promotes a welcoming help yourself as well as self-sufficiency among family, friends and guests.

Studio 38 Designs, Inc.In the bar area. We removed the existing cabinetry and in place of the old wall cabinets we created a custom arched alcove with floating shelves. A bar sink was added along with a beverage refrigerator to create a wet bar. The emerald green quartzite is also used as the countertop in the bar area.
May Construction, Inc.The light filled grand kitchen sets the stage for this exquisite French inspired design. Painted maple cabinets, an apron-front sink, and lavish marble island countertop create a sophisticated setting for cooking and socializing alike. Rich in texture and depth, the perimeter walls are lined with an intricate black soapstone backsplash, as the distinctive hand wrapped plaster hood sits proudly above the handsome dual la flange range. While it may be hard to replicate the beauty or the aged patina of a provincial chateau, we embraced and preserved unique features of this home to add gallic charm. The original solid oak front doors were re-stained, resized and purposely re-used as the statement making pantry doors. A pair of hand carved limestone cast fireplaces, warm brass fixtures and an abundance of natural stone add a touch of modern-day style.
