Window treatment ideas - Consider combining window treatments to make the window look larger or becomes part of the room design. This modern window treatment has custom gray curtain panels topped by a gray valance made of the same fabric. The window blinds are also made of a gray fabric. Works just like a wood blind or mini blind / aluminum blind, except the vanes are made of a textured fabric. This small living room space is transformed by this window treatment design.

The homeowner had previously updated their mid-century home to match their Prairie-style preferences - completing the Kitchen, Living and DIning Rooms. This project included a complete redesign of the Bedroom wing, including Master Bedroom Suite, guest Bedrooms, and 3 Baths; as well as the Office/Den and Dining Room, all to meld the mid-century exterior with expansive windows and a new Prairie-influenced interior. Large windows (existing and new to match ) let in ample daylight and views to their expansive gardens.

Scottsdale Elegance - Office - Modern accents and geometric patterns were incorporated to create an orderly working space.
This 6500 s.f. new home on one of the best blocks in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights, was designed for the needs of family with two work-from-home professionals. We focused on well-scaled rooms and excellent flow between spaces. We applied customized classical detailing and luxurious materials over a modern design approach of clean lines and state-of-the-art contemporary amenities. Materials include integral color stucco, custom mahogany windows, book-matched Calacatta marble, slate roofing and wrought-iron railings.
This colorful home office should give inspiration to anyone who wants to get to work! The patterned wallpapered accent wall and coordinating floral draperies start the room off with a punch of color. The stria finished yellow walls give depth and dimension to the space. With the dark walnut wood tones in the furniture pieces, they ground the otherwise bright room to tone it down perfectly. The teal finished dresser accents the octopus artwork, bringing in a 3rd color to the color scheme. The homeowner loved the herringbone laid floor tiles to lighten the room.
Bold, dramatic and singular home with a relaxed yet sophisticated interior. Minimal but not austere. Subtle but impactful. Mix of California and Colorado influences in a Minnesota foundation.

A mish mash of found objects used to organize my paints and canvasses, this also functions as a home office. Very few furniture items were purchased for more than $20. Garage sale finds and dumpster dives make for a cheap functional space to create.
