Remodeling and adding on to a classic pristine 1960’s ranch home is a challenging opportunity. Our clients were clear that their own sense of style should take precedence, but also wanted to honor the home’s spirit. Our solution left the original home as intact as possible and created a linear element that serves as a threshold from old to new. The steel “spine” fulfills the owners’ desire for a dynamic contemporary environment, and sets the tone for the addition. The original kidney pool retains its shape inside the new outline of a spacious rectangle. At the owner’s request each space has a “little surprise” or interesting detail.

Love Your Room LLCThis home office was designed to be fun and inspiring. The room is filled with DIY projects including recycled white end tables, recycled art work and bulletin board using a frame from MOMA and grass cloth wallpaper. The wall pattern was based on a gigantic pizza box I cut into a circle. See how it was done on my blog under DIY Ideas- www.loveyourroom.blogspot.com. The coffee table is a mid century modern antique, and the sofa and desk are from IKEA.

Visbeen ArchitectsCedar-shake siding, shutters and a number of back patios complement this home’s classically symmetrical design. A large foyer leads into a spacious central living room that divides the plan into public and private spaces, including a larger master suite and walk-in closet to the left and a dining area and kitchen with a charming built-in booth to the right. The upper level includes two large bedrooms, a bunk room, a study/loft area and comfortable guest quarters.
Atelier OleanaWe created this stunning moody library lounge inspired by the client's love of British Cigar Rooms. We used pattern, texture and moody hues to bring out the feel of the library and used the gorgeous Tom Dixon lamp, Restoration Hardware contemporary writing desk, client's gorgeous folk indian painting, and custom cabinetry to give the library/study a very modern yet classical feel!
Simpson & VoyleA home office that also doubles as a music studio. The Yves Klein blue creates a very striking divide of the space and gives this area its own identity.
Kimberlee Marie InteriorsOver the past two years, we have had the pleasure of furnishing this gorgeous Craftsman room by room. When our client first came to us in late 2018, she had just purchased this home for a fresh start with her son. This home already had a great foundation, but we wanted to ensure our client's personality shone through with her love of soft colors and layered textures. We transformed this blank canvas into a cozy home by adding wallpaper, refreshing the window treatments, replacing some light fixtures, and bringing in new furnishings.
