This narrow but long bathroom offered us the option of creating a 'wet area' where the bath and shower share one enclosure behind a fixed glass panel.

The principal bathroom of a Chelsea townhouse, designed by Albyns as part of a whole-house rebuild behind a preserved traditional façade. Pale Carrara marble with soft grey veining is book-matched across the floor and the walk-in shower, paired with a freestanding bath, a generous double vanity and polished nickel sanitaryware throughout. A serene, restrained palette designed to complement the adjoining principal bedroom - quiet, considered and built for everyday calm. An example of the way Albyns differentiates each bathroom in a home: lighter and softer here in the principal suite, in contrast to the materials-led silver travertine of the guest bathroom below.

This charming pink bathroom features soft pink walls paired with a green and pink floral wallpaper on the upper half, while the lower half of the walls is finished with wooden wainscoting, adding warmth and classic texture. The space includes a wall-mounted vanity, porcelain sink, and chrome fixtures, creating a bright, airy, and functional layout. Thoughtful design elements like traditional lighting, crown moulding, and built-in storage ensure the bathroom is both timeless and elegant, with a harmonious balance of color, pattern, and material.

Salle de bains élégante et fonctionnelle aux tons naturels chauds. L'espace intègre une douche à l'italienne avec verrière noire, créant une séparation esthétique tout en préservant la luminosité. Le meuble-vasque en chêne massif avec vasque à poser blanche apporte une touche d'authenticité, complété par un miroir ovale et des appliques murales industrielles. Les niches encastrées dans le mur offrent un rangement pratique et esthétique. Le sol en terrazzo ajoute une dimension contemporaine à l'ensemble.
