Cabinet InnovationsIsland, Butler's Pantry and 2 wall units feature Brookhaven cabinets. These units use the Lace with Charcoal Glaze and Rub-through on the Square Edge Winfield Raised with detailed drawerheads door style. Wall units have seedy glass fronted cabinets with interior lighting for display. Center Butler's Pantry cabinets are glass framed for fine china display. The backsplash of the Butler's Pantry has a wood back with an Autumn with Black Glaze finish that matches the rest of the kitchen. This expansive kitchen houses two sink stations; a farmhouse sink facing the hood and a veggie sink on the island. The farmhouse sink area is designed with decorative leg posts and decorative toe kick valance. This beautiful traditional kitchen features a Verde Vecchio Granite. All cabinets are finished off with a 3-piece crown.

Simply Home DecoratingIn this serene family home we worked in a palette of soft gray/blues and warm walnut wood tones that complimented the clients' collection of original South African artwork. We happily incorporated vintage items passed down from relatives and treasured family photos creating a very personal home where this family can relax and unwind. In the kitchen we consulted on the layout and finishes including cabinetry finish, tile floors, countertops, backsplash, furniture and accessories with stunning results. Kitchens.comThis design began with the choice of a simple Shaker style door for the cabinets, complemented by tall but plain crown molding. Somewhat more detailed carved wooden brackets support the island countertop and glass-front wall cabinets. A warm earth-colored stain with subtle burnishing gives the cabinetry a slight appearance of age without any overt distressing or glazing. Meanwhile, engineered quartz counters, a glass-and-stone mosaic tile backsplash, and a stainless steel faucet and sink introduce contemporary materials and sleek lines. These items also add texture and color to the room: the shine of metal, the glint of glass, the gray and white of the counter, and the creams, tans and blue-grays of the backsplash. Gray painted walls and gray ceramic tile floors pick up on the colors of the countertop and backsplash. Bar stools upholstered in a striped rust-and-gold fabric and pendant lights with amber-colored shades provide a bolder pop of color. With a roomy island that seats four and a 48-inch range with double oven, this kitchen can handle some serious cooking and entertaining.
