Ogni ambiente, grazie a una sapiente e calibrata scelta dei colori, risulta avvolgente, caldo e accogliente, tessendo un dialogo tra l'eleganza sobria dello stile scandinavo e la personalità vibrante del modernariato, riportando però, grazie alle nuance terrose e i marroni bruciati, immediatamente l'anima all'essenza della Toscana classica.

This quaint and pared-back kitchen features a mix of soft painted beige and natural wood elements in classic in-frame shaker cabinetry. Antique brass handles, open-honest shelving and a Belfast sink build on to the homely farmhouse aesthetic, whereas features such as the minimalist wood hood and shadow-gaps between the ceiling reigns it all back into to the 21st century. Dans cet appartement familial de 150 m², l’objectif était de rénover l’ensemble des pièces pour les rendre fonctionnelles et chaleureuses, en associant des matériaux naturels à une palette de couleurs harmonieuses. Dans la cuisine et le salon, nous avons misé sur du bois clair naturel marié avec des tons pastel et des meubles tendance. De nombreux rangements sur mesure ont été réalisés dans les couloirs pour optimiser tous les espaces disponibles. Le papier peint à motifs fait écho aux lignes arrondies de la porte verrière réalisée sur mesure. Dans les chambres, on retrouve des couleurs chaudes qui renforcent l’esprit vacances de l’appartement. Les salles de bain et la buanderie sont également dans des tons de vert naturel associés à du bois brut. La robinetterie noire, toute en contraste, apporte une touche de modernité. Un appartement où il fait bon vivre !

This beautiful, solid wood, in-frame Shaker kitchen was part of a complete house renovation. The client wanted a light, airy and practical kitchen. It includes large island, American-style fridge/freezer framed by built-in larder units providing plenty of food storage and a bi-fold butler unit neatly houses all the tea and coffee making equipment. An electric/induction hob range cooker is complemented by a Quooker boiling water tap, providing plenty of instant boiling water. The units were were supplied by The White Kitchen Company and hand-painted in Farrow and Ball Railings on the island and Drop​ Cloth for the remainder. The light quartz worktop is Silestone 'Lagoon'.

An open-plan kitchen and dining space within a custom-designed new home, defined by volume, natural light, and material contrast.
