This couple likes to cook. The kitchen was designed as an eat-in kitchen with room for family and friends. The stove is a 6 burner Viking range. Counters are icestone, backsplash is Oceanside recycled glass tile, cabinets are greenbuard certified, floor is cork for great ergonomics and reduced breakage of dishes/glasses. Off the kitchen is a large pantry and bay window nook with built-in window seat for eat-in space.

We worked with a local Kitchen company Tomas Living to create the perfect space for our client in these ice cream colours. The Gubi Beetle bar stools had a bespoke pink leather chosen to compliment the scheme.

Full house re-design project where we worked on the kitchen layout and design amongst other rooms in the house. The cork flooring helps with the acoustics whilst creating an amazing flooring pattern, and the soft pink walls create warmth without being too overpowering.

The Chapel, Margate

This Margate apartment is set within a Grade II listed converted chapel, dating back to 1811. The high ceilings and loft-style columns allowed us to be playful with the scale, so that we could create a feeling of space. We selected mainly vintage furniture and a fresh colour palette – designed to give a feel of being transported to a sunny holiday in Ibiza or Mexico – despite the lack of natural light. The use of painted arches throughout the apartment are a nod to the Chapel’s original arched windows. The shape is carried through the apartment; from the scalloped splashback in the kitchen, to the marble detailing in the bathroom.

The Leighton Gardens kitchen had two main requirements; to be environmentally conscious and budget friendly. Applying our Verde Comodoro fronts onto IKEA units ticked both of those boxes. Fenix is proud to be 100% carbon neutral in addition to all our timber being FSC certified. The kitchen is filled with natural sunlight, enhancing the warm copper tones against the dark green fenix. A freestanding hob/oven, a sleek stainless fridge, and an exposed rangehood set the stage. Shelves supported with steel add an industrial edge. The funky wallpaper stealing the spotlight, bringing in some lively energy to the room. And then there's the combo of stainless steel and timber benchtops, adding a touch of both sleek and natural elements. The stainless steel gives off a modern, shiny look, while the timber brings in a warm and timeless feel.
