Home Dot DesignsThe only thing that stayed was the sink placement and the dining room location. Clarissa and her team took out the wall opposite the sink to allow for an open floorplan leading into the adjacent living room. She got rid of the breakfast nook and capitalized on the space to allow for more pantry area.
DK HomesThis home is full of clean lines, soft whites and grey, & lots of built-in pieces. Large entry area with message center, dual closets, custom bench with hooks and cubbies to keep organized. Living room fireplace with shiplap, custom mantel and cabinets, and white brick.

Signature Design InteriorsThis floor is made of brick slices from Chicago warehouses. We used grout instead of mortar and added three layers of sealant to protect from staining.
Dawn Hearn Interior DesignThis scullery kitchen is located near the garage entrance to the home and the utility room. It is one of two kitchens in the home. The more formal entertaining kitchen is open to the formal living area. This kitchen provides an area for the bulk of the cooking and dish washing. It can also serve as a staging area for caterers when needed.

Snug KitchensOur Snug Kitchens showroom display combines bespoke traditional joinery, seamless modern appliances and a touch of art deco from the fluted glass walk in larder.
The 'Studio Green' painted cabinetry creates a bold background that highlights the kitchens brass accents. Including Armac Martin Sparkbrook brass handles and patinated brass Quooker fusion tap.
The Neolith Calacatta Luxe worktop uniquely combines deep grey tones, browns and subtle golds on a pure white base. The veneered oak cabinet internals and breakfast bar are stained in a dark wash to compliment the dark green door and drawer fronts.
As part of this display we included a double depth walk-in larder, complete with suspended open shelving, u-shaped worktop slab and fluted glass paneling. We hand finished the support rods to patina the brass ensuring they matched the other antique brass accents in the kitchen. The decadent fluted glass panels draw you into the space, obscuring the view into the larder, creating intrigue to see what is hidden behind the door.

Making Room for PeaceWhen it came to the inspiration for the Falls Church project, a good deal of it came from our client’s love for Heath Ceramics. Located out in Sausalito, California, this company is best-known for their handcrafted ceramic tableware and architectural tile in distinctive glazes. Further down (if you scroll) there is a photo of the growing client’s collection! Taking cue from these pieces (the color, style and story); we also took note of the Heath store itself, and how it tied in (in regards to the finishes/style) perfectly with our vision for the home.
John McClain DesignServing as the heart of the home, this sleek and sexy kitchen features semi-custom modern slim shaker style cabinetry in Sherwin Williams Grizzle Gray. This color, rich in dark brown, black and blue undertones pairs exquisitely with the varied colors and veins within the stunning porcelain counter tops and counter to ceiling back splash. Diminutive flush-mount fixtures in wrapped brass positioned across the ceiling elevates this space even more as opposed to traditional recessed can lighting.
