Sorrells Custom Wine RoomsWe turned a disused barn into a unique wine cellar and entertainment space, enabling the client to open the barn onto the proposed landscaped garden. The barn was divided into two areas – a glass screened and temperature controlled wine cellar, and an entertainment room containing a wine fridge and selection of display wine racking. To enable us to control the temperature, the enclosed area had to be insulated, a vapour barrier installed and finished with plaster board. Racking, doors and framework constructed in solid oak.

Additionally, improper room set up may result in mold and mildew.

In addition to providing double deep individual racking, the wine closet design also uses diamond bins and double deep, quarter round display cabinet, and a magnificent custom stained and etched European style wine cabinet.
