Moore House DesignA country club respite for our busy professional Bostonian clients. Our clients met in college and have been weekending at the Aquidneck Club every summer for the past 20+ years. The condos within the original clubhouse seldom come up for sale and gather a loyalist following. Our clients jumped at the chance to be a part of the club's history for the next generation. Much of the club’s exteriors reflect a quintessential New England shingle style architecture. The internals had succumbed to dated late 90s and early 2000s renovations of inexpensive materials void of craftsmanship. Our client’s aesthetic balances on the scales of hyper minimalism, clean surfaces, and void of visual clutter. Our palette of color, materiality & textures kept to this notion while generating movement through vintage lighting, comfortable upholstery, and Unique Forms of Art.

Kimball Starr Interior DesignSmall space living solutions are used throughout this contemporary 596 square foot townhome. Adjustable height table in the entry area serves as both a coffee table for socializing and as a dining table for eating. Curved banquette is upholstered in outdoor fabric for durability and maximizes space with hidden storage underneath the seat. Kitchen island has a retractable countertop for additional seating while the living area conceals a work desk and media center behind sliding shoji screens.
Calming tones of sand and deep ocean blue fill the tiny bedroom downstairs. Glowing bedside sconces utilize wall-mounting and swing arms to conserve bedside space and maximize flexibility.
LVX PaintingThe wishbone arch over the front window is cast stone. It had been painted with a very thick layer of beige paint. All the detail was lost. We cleaned away all the old paint and layered the most ornate sections with blacks and greens to give the appearance of antique bronzework.
Banyan ArchitectsThis award winning condominium design is less than a block away from the historic Presidio in downtown Santa Barbara. We combined a mud-brick, street-facing facade for the front unit with a combination of plaster and board-and-batt siding on the rear condo with aim of creating an authentic but relaxed rustic Mission Style exterior.

Loftcube basiert. Der Berliner Designer Werner Aisslinger will mit leichten, mobilen
Wohneinheiten diesen neuen, sonnigen
Lebensraum im großen Stil eröffnen und
vermarkten. Nach zweijährigen Vorarbeiten
präsentierten die Planer im Jahr 2003 den
Prototypen ihrer modularen Wohneinheiten
auf dem Flachdach des Universal Music
Gebäudes in Berlin.
Der Loftcube besteht aus einem Tragwerk mit aufgesteckten Fassadenelementen und einem variablen inneren Ausbausystem. Schneller als ein ein Fertighaus ist er innerhalb von 2-3 Tagen inklusive Innenausbau komplett aufgestellt. Zudem lässt sich der Loftcube in der gleichen Zeit auch wieder abbauen und an einen anderen Ort transportieren. Der Loftcube bietet bei Innenabmessungen von 6,25 x 6,25 m etwa 39 m2 Wohnfläche. Die nächst größere Einheit bietet bei rechteckigem Grundriss eine Raumgröße von 55 m2. Ausgehend von diesen Grundmodulen können - durch Brücken miteinander verbundener Einzelelemente - ganze Wohnlandschaften errichtet werden. Je nach Anforderung kann so die Wohnfläche im Laufe der Zeit den Bedürfnissen der Nutzer immer wieder angepasst werden. Die gewünschte Mobilität gewährleistet die auf
