The light natural colors used in the kitchen beautifully contrast the rugged beauty of the home's coastal surroundings.
While this kitchen is of modest dimensions, it features wonderful luxe effects such as the hand hammered Pewter sink and Italian made island table base - Tastefully designed, defying a style label, ensuring its enduring relevance.
Painted White Reclaimed Wood wall paneling clads this guest space. In the kitchen, a reclaimed wood feature wall and floating reclaimed wood shelves were re-milled from wood pulled and re-used from the original structure. The open joists on the painted white ceiling give a feeling of extra head space and the natural wood textures provide warmth.

Simple and efficient kitchen with suspended wood shelves overhead accented with industrial light fixtures. Ikea cabinets with a new wood surround at the ends.
The units were replaced with light cream cupboards and a wooden worktop. Simple metro tiles formed a practical splashback against the fresh green walls and new appliances were installed. Good task lighting is key in a kitchen so a track fitting is hidden behind the beam over the basin and spotlights were installed under the cupboards. A pretty ceramic pendant provides general lighting.

A house inspired by Russian folk cottages. The painted Indian screen partitions the kitchen from the living room; the kitchen door opens to the garden. The chairs were refreshed with Anastasia fabric from the Shabby Chic fabric collection.
