Harper DesignsThis gorgeous living room features custom artwork, reupholstered wingback chairs, a large area rug, brass elements, linen draperies and a luxurious sofa. Tone on tone neutrals make this the perfect spot to relax and read a book or to entertain.
DASHThe living room was stripped out to allow for the basement dig out and was reinstated to a similar manner after, the only notable difference being the staircase heading to the basement. The mirror above the fireplace is actually the TV unit.
Simply Home DecoratingThis tiny home is located on a treelined street in the Kitsilano neighborhood of Vancouver. We helped our client create a living and dining space with a beach vibe in this small front room that comfortably accommodates their growing family of four. The starting point for the decor was the client's treasured antique chaise (positioned under the large window) and the scheme grew from there. We employed a few important space saving techniques in this room... One is building seating into a corner that doubles as storage, the other is tucking a footstool, which can double as an extra seat, under the custom wood coffee table. The TV is carefully concealed in the custom millwork above the fireplace. Finally, we personalized this space by designing a family gallery wall that combines family photos and shadow boxes of treasured keepsakes. Altura ArchitectsThe main level at this modern farmhouse has a great room and den bookended by stone fireplaces. The kitchen is at the center of the main living spaces where we designed multiple islands for smart base cabinet storage which still allows visual connection from the kitchen to all spaces. The open living spaces serve the owner’s desire to create a comfortable environment for entertaining during large family gatherings. There are plenty of spaces where everyone can spread out whether it be eating or cooking, watching TV or just chatting by the fireplace. The main living spaces also act as a privacy buffer between the master suite and a guest suite.

Teakwood Builders, Inc.This "adults only" seating area occupies the space of the previous sunroom and provides the clients with the perfect area to entertain, have after dinner drinks by the fire, or simply relax while their kids play nearby. Nearly floor-to-ceiling windows take advantage of the 7 acre lot and its spectacular views.

Regan Baker Design Inc.Hired mid demolition, Regan Baker Design Inc. partnered with the first-time home owners and construction team to help bring this two-bedroom two-bath condo some classic casual character. Cabinetry design, finish selection, furniture and accessories were all designed and implemented within a 6-month period. To add interest in the living room RBD added white oak paneling with a v-groove to the ceiling and clad the fireplace in a terra cotta tile. The space is completed with a Burning Man inspired painting made for the client by her sister!
