Nature and beach lovers seeking a relaxed calm atmosphere will find this set to be a masculine approach to coastal living.
Kathryn Bloomer InteriorsAfter spending 40 happy years in their family home, Kathryn’s clients purchased a smaller apartment in Sydney’s South. Kathryn assisted in furnishing the apartment. A modern, fresh and bright apartment led to a black, white and natural coloured decorative scheme. Elements of timber veneer, glass and earthy looking upholstery contributed to the understated elegance of the furnishings. Sourcing a variety of beautiful pieces from suppliers in Sydney and Victoria the interior decoration reflected the design of the apartment. Fabrics were sourced and chosen specifically for the lounge setting which was hand crafted here in Sydney.

Anushka ContractorOur client works largely from home and had requested a large desk. The window, which we gave a black detailing to give the illusion of length, was the best place for it, capitalising on the natural light. A wooden desk was customised with yellow finish drawers on a side. Next to this corner hangs a custom-designed ceiling lamp in terrazzo.

In fact, the key to Zen is to ensure sufficient and strategically placed storage space for owners, while maximising the feel of spaciousness. This ensures that the entire space will not be clouded by clutter. For this project, nOtch kept the key Zen elements of balance, harmony and relaxation, while incorporating fengshui elements, in a modern finishing. A key fengshui element is the flowing stream ceiling design, which directs all auspicious Qi from the main entrance into the heart of the home, and gathering them in the ponds. This project was selected by myPaper生活 》家居to be a half-paged feature on their weekly interior design advise column.
