Alle pareti chiare si contrappone il rivestimento scuro in mosaico che avvolge e delimita la vasca idromassaggio. Luci a led illuminano verticalmente le pareti.

Progetto di ristrutturazione di una tavernetta con realizzazione di un nuovo bagno di servizio all'interno del cavedio.

Angolo cucina in taverna. Lo stile contemporaneo dell'anta a telaio senza maniglia ben si abbina ai piani in rovere della mensola snack e del tavolo. Un falso armadio a muro copre i collettori e gli impianti della casa.

basement industrial style with cosy and warm light ambience

The Place Between designed and project managed the renovations of the basement of this architecturally designed 3 bed victorian end of terrace property, in London SE15. The brief was to create an opening for the stairs for better ventilation and make this an office space with cellar under the stairs. The underfloor heating system also had to be repaired on both levels (basement and ground floor). The place was completely stripped back and a new staircase was fitted. For the interior design aspects, gold and whites were chosen as colour scheme. To cover the walls, we used cut to measure and high quality white acrylic panelling. Bespoke plywood carpentry was fitted to cover the utilities and make space for office files. Plenty of lighting for darker evenings complement the 3 large skylights. The flooring is eco friendly white vinyl roll. A strip of gold mosaic square tiles was added to mirror a feature already on the ground floor, creating a feeling of continuity in the home. The results are a bright, funky, cool and airy space to work from home and store wine.

Our client wanted to get more out of the living space on the ground floor so we created a basement with a new master bedroom and bathroom.

in un angolo bianco ed anonimo era presente questo bel camino a legna, lo abbiamo abbinato a una boiserie di legno massello vecchio e recuperato, poltroncine d'epoca finemente restaurate ancora con le tradizionali molle e tappezzate di nuovo, un lavoro di ricerca che porta con se' il nuovo e il vecchio conferendo stile e calore oltra all'unicità.

Progetto di ristrutturazione di una tavernetta con accesso ad un giardinetto esterno. Sulla sinistra del prospetto che confina con l'esterno è stato installato un camino rivestito in cartongesso. Sulla destra invece, un mobile su misura con ante tinta unita color kashmere, stesso colore utilizzato per la finitura del cartongesso utilizzato per il rivestimento del camino. Il tutto viene incorniciato da un portale bianco in resina che funge in alto da veletta utile a portare l'illuminazione e per alloggiare il binario della tenda, in basso una panca che funge anche da gradone per accedere all'esterno. Sul prospetto opposto, nel sotto scala, è stata installata una cucina su misura con ante bianco frassianto. Al centro della stanza il tavolo da pranzo in cristallo bianco opaco e il divano affiancato ad una parete rivestita in carta da parati.
