Mattson & CompanyThis nursery was a low-budget, DIY job. The idea was to create a space that both baby and momma could be comfortable in, and enjoy spending a lot of hours in (particularly in the first few months!). The theme started as "sophisticated gender neutral with subtle elements of whimsy and nature" - and I think we achieved that! The space was only 8' x 10', so storage solutions were key. The closet drawers and side table were both (very worn) antique pieces that were given a new life!
D. Buckley DesignLindsay and her husband Geoff have a new home in Washington D.C. and needed to transform the extra room in to a space suitable for their new little addition. I was excited to take on the project, using Lindsay's beloved childhood stuffed penguin 'Pengi' as a starting point for inspiration. With an arctic-cool color palette, some great Etsy finds, and a little elbow grease, the room came together perfectly: a modern, arctic nursery for their little boy August. Complete with penguins, of course.

Designs By Des InteriorsThe "Wild Jungle Nursery" was a project we completed for a soon to be transitioning toddler. Our client chose a theme that their son could grow into and could also be educational. By using the wild jungle theme, we created fun decor that was interactive and soothing. We changed the original wall color, lighting, and used some existing furniture to make the transition easier. The nursery is one that can easily be changed to a big boy room, coming soon!

Suya WangI would like a cheerful room for my baby and chose bright mustard yellow as the main colour. In the meantime, as I learned baby only can tell black & white colour for a while, I chose black wallpaper for the rest two walls. I am worried it's too bold, but after putting them all on, I am pretty happy with the result. And of course, yellow and black normally go well together.
The cot and Change table is Babyletto Lolly brand. Package price $1500;
The single bed is passed down from a friend. I bought the draw knobs from Etsy;
Animal Heads Deco bought on RoyalDesign. $80 each;
Clock, paintings and other small deco all bought from Taobao.
As an amateur, I am pretty happy with the end result, and I believe the same with my baby. Hope you like it too :)
