Sorrells Custom Wine Rooms
A great use of space. An under stairs wine wall with glass front and Oak racking.

One of the challenges in wine room construction is the size and shape of the space. For this project, Wine Cellar Specialists had to create a beautiful and functional design for a wine cellar under the stairs. Despite the space requirements and irregular shape of the room, they were able to come up with an elegant design. To keep the wines safe, they installed a commercial grade wine cellar refrigeration unit supplied by US Cellar Systems.

Spectacular modern, minimalistic wine room. Aluminum wine pins turn every bottle into a display. This low profile style gives the appearance of floating wine bottles.
The unwavering attention to detail by builder, Classic Living Homes is often imitated, but rarely done to such a high level. Hidden LED accent lighting behind a crown and base profile are amazing! The glass wall entry and extension of the dining room is just a well thought out design.

This photo depicts the completed California wine cellar under the stairs. The client's 200 bottles are already stored in a climate-controlled Le Cache wine cabinet. This wine cellar was designed for displaying bottles that are ready for consumption. This idea saved the client thousands of dollars.

"Everything went well and I did use a nail gun to assemble the racking. I ran into some space issues once I added the oak paneling for my walls, so I ended up having to customize the racking to fit into the space. What I did is cut down the racking on the left side and adjusted it to support 3L bottles. Pretty cool huh? :-) The walls are lined with wine corks (over 3K) I've collected over the past 15 years of drinking wine. It really gives it a cool look, but also serves as a reminder of all the great wines we've had over the years.
I also added commercial multicolor LED light tape throughout the cellar to create different effects. It's pretty cool to have ten or so different colors to cycle through. As you can see below, the cellar is almost 100% complete. The only things left to do are install the AC unit, get a glass door, and fill the 3L slots with some good wine! :-) Happy Holidays and thanks for providing me with products that allowed me to build my cellar. It's not as big or extravagant as I would of liked but given the space I had it's perfect!" Chad M.

"Coto" custom wine cellar door Texas in Oak, with a custom stain match. We installed operable wrought iron for ease of cleaning. The hand carved grapevine design added elegance to the entryway.
The center of the door is comprised of dual pane glass. It prevents air/liquid/temperature filtration, and provides a nice view into the wine storage space.

Most of the wine cellar inspiration we showcase focuses around massive rooms that hold thousands of bottles leaving the impression that scale is the most important part of making a display great.
The New American Home 2021 challenges that notion. With limited space for the bar area in this Orlando, Fl., area home, Phil Kean Design Group made an impactful architectural statement with a neat, 22-bottle wine wall featuring the Vino Pins Flex wine rack. Chic. Bold. Eye-catching. And oh so gold.

The bar was closed off and felt very dated. By removing the wall and sticking with a soft gray, cream and pops of gold dramatically improved the space.

An arch display custom wine rack CA (center) serves as the focal point of this wine room. The arch features a whittle board effect, imbuing it with a unique and eye-catching appearance. Our clients opted to use the arch display to showcase an art piece.
The solid tabletop connected to the arch serves as a convenient area for decanting and sampling wines. Individual wine racks surround the arch display area. Above the arch is a horizontal storage opening for large format bottles. We installed the cooling unit at the top right section.
The middle section consists of horizontal display rows, which pitch the bottles at an angle to keep the cork moist. At the bottom section, you can see the lattice diamond bins and more individual wine racks.

The right wall of this Texas residential wine cellar boasts solid horizontal display racks from floor to ceiling. This allows for easy viewing of the wine labels.
The back wall is comprised of double deep, solid diamond bins, a reclaimed wine barrel tabletop, a high reveal display row with LED lighting, and individual bottle racks.
The racks were crafted from mahogany, finished with an Early American stain and lacquer.
The stain brings out the grain of the wood nicely, imbuing the wine room with a warm, natural appeal. The door was manufactured in Oak.

This closeup of the Mini Stackable wine racks in Classic Mahogany Stain is a gorgeous closeup look on how the bottles are all displayed. "While I did not have to have much interaction with Wine Cellar Innovations that must convey that putting together our wine cabinets was very simple. And they look very nice in my Wine and Chocolate Bar. They arrived on time and are very nice." Sandra C

We constructed the California wine cellar racks from Alder wood and applied it with a Rustic stain.
The design consists of diamond bins, a high reveal display row, single storage racks, and case storage bins.
We placed an extended ledge in front of the racking to serve as a modified tabletop. It provides an additional space for storing and serving wine.
