Cummings Architecture + InteriorsLooking at this home today, you would never know that the project began as a poorly maintained duplex. Luckily, the homeowners saw past the worn façade and engaged our team to uncover and update the Victorian gem that lay underneath. Taking special care to preserve the historical integrity of the 100-year-old floor plan, we returned the home back to its original glory as a grand, single family home.
The project included many renovations, both small and large, including the addition of a a wraparound porch to bring the façade closer to the street, a gable with custom scrollwork to accent the new front door, and a more substantial balustrade. Windows were added to bring in more light and some interior walls were removed to open up the public spaces to accommodate the family’s lifestyle.

Within Studio LLCWithin Studio travelled to Montgomery Alabama to help transform two homes for the tv show: Fix It and Finish It. We had ONE day to complete this task. This particular home was an enclosed garage that had become a storage unit for the home owners. The pastor and his wife needed a home office and sitting area, and we were happy to come to the rescue. Renée Céleste FlandersThe use of a semi-circular hunt desk helps to soften the angles of a small home office. Note the antique velvet drapery border and how it blends with the baseboard. Designer and artist Renee Flanders supplied the window sill stick. Simple and inexpensive willow baskets are hung on the wall. The radiator was sprayed bronze metallic.

Anna von Mangoldt FarbenEdgar hat seinen Namen vom Maler Edgar Degas, den Anna von Mangoldt sehr verehrt. Es ist ein sattes, warmes Aubergine, das sich sowohl als dramatische Wandfarbe als auch als trendy Möbelfarbe gut eignet. Kombiniert mit Schlamm- und Weißtönen wie Portobello oder Taj Mahal wirkt Edgar sehr edel und ist deshalb auch als kräftige Badezimmer-Farbe sehr originell.

Во всем старались соблюсти строгость форм,четкую геометрию, симметрию. Важную роль в создании нужной атмосферы, в создании уюта мы доверили краске Ланорс Монс и не пожалели, а наоборот, остались в восторге от результата. В основу для всех помещений выбрали №3 Сливочный Монс и заказчик буквально был удивлен,что в каждом помещении этот цвет выглядел по-другому... Взаимодействовал с мебелью, с другими цветовыми акцентами и превращался в другой цвет.... Волшебство.
Отдельно хотелось бы отметить №119 "Льняной" . Взаимодействуя с №14 «Красное Вино» кабинет получился теплым, эффектным... Здесь приятно работать,читать книгу.…
