Kimberlee Marie InteriorsWhen our client came to us, she was stumped with how to turn her small living room into a cozy, useable family room. The living room and dining room blended together in a long and skinny open concept floor plan. It was difficult for our client to find furniture that fit the space well. It also left an awkward space between the living and dining areas that she didn’t know what to do with. She also needed help reimagining her office, which is situated right off the entry. She needed an eye-catching yet functional space to work from home.
In the living room, we reimagined the fireplace surround and added built-ins so she and her family could store their large record collection, games, and books. We did a custom sofa to ensure it fits the space and maximized the seating. We added texture and pattern through accessories and balanced the sofa with two warm leather chairs. We updated the dining room furniture and added a little seating area to help connect the spaces. Now there is a permanent home for their record player and a cozy spot to curl up in when listening to music.
For the office, we decided to add a pop of color, so it contrasted well with the neutral living space. The office also needed built-ins for our client’s large cookbook collection and a desk where she and her sons could rotate between work, homework, and computer games. We decided to add a bench seat to maximize space below the window and a lounge chair for additional seating.

Everything HomeOur Indiana design studio gave this Centerville Farmhouse an urban-modern design language with a clean, streamlined look that exudes timeless, casual sophistication with industrial elements and a monochromatic palette.

Coastal Signature HomesThis sitting room, with built in desk, is in the master bedroom, with pocket doors to close off. Perfect private spot all of your own. .
mercer INTERIORThe desk area was also done in the same grey stained oak, with a clean floating design to maximize seating space and create an open feel. The wallpaper takes a more prominent role here behind the woodwork. Cords were eliminated largely by going wireless wherever possible. The remaining cords are run through the wall.

LiLu InteriorsOur Minneapolis design studio gave this home office a feminine, fashion-inspired theme. The highlight of the space is the custom built-in desk and shelves. The room has a simple color scheme of gray, cream, white, and lavender, with a pop of purple added with the comfy accent chair. Medium-tone wood floors add a dash of warmth.

POËSIS STUDIOLe bleu stimule la créativité, ainsi nous avons voulu créer un effet boite dans le bureau avec la peinture Selvedge de @farrow&ball allié au chêne, fil conducteur de l’appartement.
Breathe Design StudioOur Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom.
The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space.
In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space.

Patel Design StudioMinimalist inspired desk and chair create a light and airy feel to the office space allowing plenty of room to move around and get inspired. The hexagonal shelving was custom built to create a natural centerpiece for the room. The room sparks creativity and inspires one's workspace.
Orren Pickell Building GroupThe home office/library features a dark painted wainscot wall and wall papered tray ceiling. The trim detail at the ceiling is painted in Benjamin Moore 2136-10 "Black Knight" in a satin finish. The cabinetry is maple and painted in the same black satin finish.

CO InteriorsThis office was created for a couple who both works from home and collaborate together from time to time. We created a custom T-shape desk surface which creates a partition between the two work stations yet offers a collaborative surface if necessary. The most interesting feature within the office is the photographic artwork of Italian architecture in the middle of the upper shelving unit. It’s actually divided into three sections and attached to a pair of sliding doors, which open and close part of the storage unit.
