Balance Interior DesignAmple storage was designed to bounce light and increase the sense of space in this small, dark basement flat. We chose a deep green wall colour & paired it with rust and neutral bedding to create a layered and cosy feel. Modern art, designed alongside the client, was added to bring character and contrast to the walls.
Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncA small enclosed kitchen is very common in many homes such as the home that we remodeled here.
Opening a wall to allow natural light to penetrate the space is a must. When budget is important the solution can be as you see in this project - the wall was opened and removed but a structural post remained and it was incorporated in the design.
The blue modern flat paneled cabinets was a perfect choice to contras the very familiar gray scale color scheme but it’s still compliments it since blue is in the correct cold color spectrum.
Notice the great black windows and the fantastic awning window facing the pool. The awning window is great to be able to serve the exterior sitting area near the pool.
Opening the wall also allowed us to compliment the kitchen with a nice bar/island sitting area without having an actual island in the space.
The best part of this kitchen is the large built-in pantry wall with a tall wine fridge and a lovely coffee area that we built in the sitting area made the kitchen expend into the breakfast nook and doubled the area that is now considered to be the kitchen.
ImageryClean and elegant hall bathroom with a single 3/8" glass panel, channel drain, and zero entry. Matte black fixtures and accessories add a nice pop of contrast to the white porcelain tile and glass tile accent strip.
JMP InteriorsMy client was moving from a 5,000 sq ft home into a 1,365 sq ft townhouse. She wanted a clean palate and room for entertaining. The main living space on the first floor has 5 sitting areas, three are shown here. She travels a lot and wanted her art work to be showcased. We kept the overall color scheme black and white to help give the space a modern loft/ art gallery feel. the result was clean and modern without feeling cold. Randal Perry Photography

John McClain DesignThis barrier free (curbless) shower was designed for easy access. The perfect solution for the elderly or anyone who wants to enter the shower without any issues. The dark gray concrete look floor tile extends uninterrupted into the shower. Satin nickel fixtures and a teak shower stool provide some contrast. Walls are also built with plywood substrate in order to any grab bars if the situation ever arises.
