Данное помещение не должно было отличаться от остальных по стилю и изначально предполагало максимальный аскетизм и строгость в интерьере. Тем не менее, возведение четырех одинаково серых стен не выход, поэтому упор сделан на стену в изголовье кровати. Она выполнена в текстуре камня, но поскольку камень, сам по себе материал довольно холодный и тяжелый, более того, имеет швы, мы выбрали декоративную штукатурку, которая выполнена по индивидуальным образцам, согласованными с клиентом.
Освещение в комнате, по аналогии с кухней-гостиной, имеет большое количество сценариев. Кроме верхнего общего света в виде точечных светильников и люстры в комнате есть светодиодная лента спрятанная в нише,что позволяет создать приятную вечернюю атмосферу в мягком свете. У каждой тумбочки есть индивидуальная лампа для чтения, также есть и подсветка рабочей поверхности письменного стола.

Tierney Conner ArchitectureEvery inch of the inside and outside living areas are reconceived in this full house and guest-house renovation in Berkeley. In the main house the entire floor plan is flipped to re-orient public and private areas, with the formerly small, chopped up spaces opened and integrated with their surroundings. The studio, previously a deteriorating garage, is transformed into a clean and cozy space with an outdoor area of its own. A palette of screen walls, corten steel, stucco and concrete connect the materials and forms of the two spaces. LightologyReveal projects an indirect glow onto ceilings and floors to deliver flush mount cove and toe-kick lighting. This 24VDC linear LED system features a shallow .5 inch deep plaster-in aluminum extrusion no thicker than drywall that houses a single row of high CRI, commercial grade white LED Soft Strip. System mounts directly to studs without joist modification and plasters into .5 inch or thicker drywall. Reveal is sold in 1 foot 2.5 watt increments up to 40 feet and may be field-cut. Also available in a 5 watt per foot version as well as a Red-Blue-Green RGB version. LED Soft Strip may be cut every 2.4 inches. 2.5 watt Reveal runs up to 40 feet on a single Class 2, 96 watt power supply. Available in Amber White 2400K with 80 plus CRI, Warm White 2700K with 85 plus CRI, or Very Warm White 3000K with 85 plus CRI.
