HomewingsThis guest bedroom packs a real design punch and is filled with clever affordable hacks. The scheme started around the paint colour which is Dulux Breton Blue, the owner then made a DIY headboard with fabric from Premier Prints and livened up an old mirror with twigs. The homemade items are mixed with beautiful antiques; the bureau dresser and authentic Kilim, and some modern pieces thrown in like the Starkey lamp from Made and the bedside table from Ikea. The variety of items all help to curate the relaxed, eclectic style of this fun guest bedroom.

Lindy Design BuildThis primary suite is truly a private retreat. We were able to create a variety of zones in this suite to allow room for a good night’s sleep, reading by a roaring fire, or catching up on correspondence. The fireplace became the real focal point in this suite. Wrapped in herringbone whitewashed wood planks and accented with a dark stone hearth and wood mantle, we can’t take our eyes off this beauty. With its own private deck and access to the backyard, there is really no reason to ever leave this little sanctuary.
Imperfect InteriorsWe painted the primary bedroom of this Isle of Wight holiday home in a blue green, added new trims & ironmongery to the existing wardrobes and installed plaster cornicing. We also added double pocket doors into the en-suite and an antique dressing table & chair
Burrow & NestThe Master Suite boasts textured grasscloth with pale blue undertones from Phillip Jeffries. Pale blues and creams create a calming palette, with natural elements like linen and reclaimed wood to add to the visceral experience. Gold accents bring a touch of sophistication to this otherwise casual room that focuses on comfort. A seating area sits at the foot of the bed-- a perfect spot to unwind in front of the fireplace after a long day. Greenery and coastal accents are a nod to the surrounding woods and water in the area of this sleepy charming town in Maine.
Hallmark FloorsLaguna Oak Hardwood – The Alta Vista Hardwood Flooring Collection is a return to vintage European Design. These beautiful classic and refined floors are crafted out of French White Oak, a premier hardwood species that has been used for everything from flooring to shipbuilding over the centuries due to its stability.
Susan Brook InteriorsThis Master Bedroom remodel is part of an extensive push out of the existing floor plan. The other 2 projects with this are "Master Bathroom floating wall and Master Dressing Room. A sitting area with temperature sensor gas fire has a custom designed fire surround with flanking display shelves. The swivel rocker chairs allow either reading by the fire or with a turn watching the wall hung TV. The new wall of French doors with flanking fixed panels allows a lot of light in this bedroom as well as the 2 new windows either side of the Kingsize bed.
The tray ceiling has a soft effect as all the walls and trim are in the same color, giving an architectural envelope to this beautiful room.
Metrical DesignUse of the same enveloping and engaging colour for walls, ceilings and built in joinery gives this bedroom a dramatic feel, and contrary to popular belief, the dark ceiling actually makes the room feel larger than if you were to have a standard white ceiling. This allows the bright brass chandelier and artistic mural to shine through as the key features of the room. Light from the chandelier creates a delicate pattern across the ceiling and tops of the walls, creating quite a magical effect.
Sullivan's Island Designs, LLCWe continued the blue into the master bedroom. Matching wood tone night stands with a distressed white painted chest. The overall look is country French.
