Jaclyn Grace DesignsThe Arches Guest Bedroom was designed for a couple who loves mid-century modern design. This room, visible from their marigold yellow living room, functions as a workout and meditation space when they are not hosting guests. The flat weave rug allows for a yoga mat to easily be placed on top without any slipping. When guests are in town, the teal pull-out sofa, instantly transforms this space into a comfortable and luxurious bedroom for hosting. Instead of artwork for the walls, we borrowed from our Emmy Award winning composer clients collection of beautiful guitars as art for the space. A hanging mount allows him to easily access the guitars, when needed. Perforated metal lamps and Edison bulbs, give the room a moody and romantic feel, while allowing for the wallpaper design to be seen throughout.
JL InteriorsHollywood glamour meets contemporary meets shabby chic. Our client wanted a feminine touch to her master bedroom. With the soft sheepskin rug we paired it with a grey linen tufted headboard and a damask accent wallpaper wall. The room has a sexy and feminine feel to it. Exactly what the client asked for.

Here, within our HomeByMe 3D renders we were able to show our client how the wallpaper would look (Photowall_sweden galaxy wallpaper) before she committed to buying it. The Mobelaris egg-shaped ball chair, sleek Tikamoon flat teak bed and added under bed lighting give the room a really cosmic space age look! We chose these because they will age well and (if and) when the occupant would like a different feel, the furniture won't need to be changed. Bespoke wardrobes have been designed to be built in to perfectly fit the angled ceiling and use the available space efficiently. We even found matching galaxy printed pillows and throws for the accessories.
Heather PujalsThe owner of this apartment is a graduate student in the field of literature. She had a large book collection for which I mounted a custom shelving system. The headboard is also custom-made and I stained the wood to match that of the bookshelves for a feeling of unity. This bedroom features a large window (not pictured) that lets in a flood of light, allowing the edgy black paint to feel relaxed instead of oppressive. Board and batten on the lower portion of the wall was also a custom job to make the built-in ledges seem more intentional as opposed to an accidental result of the strange in-law floor plan.
