Adjustable height table in the entry area serves as both a coffee table for socializing and as a dining table for eating. Curved banquette is upholstered in outdoor fabric for durability and maximizes space with hidden storage underneath the seat. Kitchen island has a retractable countertop for additional seating while the living area conceals a work desk and media center behind sliding shoji screens.
Calming tones of sand and deep ocean blue fill the tiny bedroom downstairs. Glowing bedside sconces utilize wall-mounting and swing arms to conserve bedside space and maximize flexibility.

Le tout faisant face à la partie salle à manger, qui sur le même principe, se démarque visuellement grâce à ses murs de couleurs qui viennent créer une pièce dans la pièce.

Marcia Moore DesignBest of Houzz 2016 Dining Room Design winner. The custom built-in banquette allowed the breakfast nook to seat 5 people comfortably and not encroach on the walking space. Custom dark wood cabinet houses breakfast dishes. Wood and marble look alike porcelain tiles set on the diagonal add interest to a large floor space. The coffers on the ceiling create the same interest on the ceiling. Notice the 3 elephants holding up the table top.

Ceilings are coffered and a dramatic large pendant lamp is placed centered in the paneled ceiling. A silk light grey rug sits proud under a 12' wide custom dining table. Reclaimed wood planks from Canada and an industrial steel base harden the soft lines of the room and provide a bit of whimsy. Dining benches sit on one side of the table, and four leather and nail head studded chairs flank the other side. The table comfortably sits a party of 12.
