Sara Bengur Interiors
For the light-bathed room off the hard-working kitchen, Sara began with spellbinding color as inspiration. On the walls she used an earthy, hot-flashing orange, a hue of fruits and flowers, and covered the banquette in brilliant turquoise, a cool pool of complementary color. Playful, freewheeling, and unconventional, the space offers both safe harbor and escape.

Inside the main house, a wall that separated the breakfast and mudroom areas was removed and replaced with a bookcase. Removing the wall allows the two small areas to borrow space and light from each other, making both rooms feel more spacious
Normandy Remodeling
These brightly colored walls accent the dining room table. White trim balances the space making it cozy and welcoming for family and guests. The double hung twin windows allow plenty of natural light into the dining area to really bring the space to life. Mi Casa is a sophisticated blend of warm hues, cozy textures and fanciful décor that elegantly enunciates the story of who resides in this restored miner’s cottage. Through a renewed colour palette you are inspired to escape to the Mediterranean seaside inspired by sunsets in Spain.

Partial removal of this existing kitchen's cabinets, 1/2 of a wall and a swing door made way for a view through the dining room to the natural light from the patio beyond. A Ceasarstone counter was placed on the new 1/2 wall with stools tucked beneath for a breakfast area. New lighting, floor refinishing and paint were added to brighten the space.
