On the walls she used an earthy, hot-flashing orange, a hue of fruits and flowers, and covered the banquette in brilliant turquoise, a cool pool of complementary color. Lynn Hopkins ArchitectsInside the main house, a wall that separated the breakfast and mudroom areas was removed and replaced with a bookcase. Removing the wall allows the two small areas to borrow space and light from each other, making both rooms feel more spacious

Lauren Shadid Architecture + InteriorsPartial removal of this existing kitchen's cabinets, 1/2 of a wall and a swing door made way for a view through the dining room to the natural light from the patio beyond. A Ceasarstone counter was placed on the new 1/2 wall with stools tucked beneath for a breakfast area. New lighting, floor refinishing and paint were added to brighten the space.
