Sesshu Design Associates, LtdThis dining room has a formal flair but is still very comfortable and livable with rich warm tones of red, rust, silver and gold. The custom rug was made to fit the oval shape of the room and tie in the colors of the Venetian plaster walls, the wood and the chandelier. A random grouping of unmatched candlesticks creates an interesting centerpiece that constantly changes.

Chase RyanOld world inspired natural rock entry with formal dining table. Custom wood and travertine floor art adorned with hand knotted wool and silk rug.
Peter Bartels, Interior DesignerThe large 370 square foot dining room with brick walls at each side of the room, floor to ceiling windows on the exterior wall and the opposite wall open to other areas of the home. Bulkheads were added at each side of the room to tie in to the exiting bulkheads at the window wall. An upholstered dcorative wall as designed for sound absorption. The lighting plan was redesigned and decorative wood trim was added to the ceiling and bulkheads,to correspond with the living room. The Fortuny Chandelier and 8 red Baker upholsterd dining chairs were from the previous residence and 8 Donghia stacking Kismo chiars were purchased. Two 54" square dining tables sit 8 each were designed by the Interior Designer.

This project has used our Tuscan Travertine across an entire entry, stairway and lounge room. The rich dark brown wooden features provide more depth due to the simplicity of the Travertine. In the Image you can see the tile paving pattern is in our french style.
