KitchenLab InteriorsCoconut Grove is Southwest of Miami beach near coral gables and south of downtown. It’s a very lush and charming neighborhood. It’s one of the oldest neighborhoods and is protected historically. It hugs the shoreline of Biscayne Bay. The 10,000sft project was originally built
17 years ago and was purchased as a vacation home. Prior to the renovation the owners could not get past all the brown. He sails and they have a big extended family with 6 kids in between them. The clients wanted a comfortable and causal vibe where nothing is too precious. They wanted to be able to sit on anything in a bathing suit. KitchenLab interiors used lots of linen and indoor/outdoor fabrics to ensure durability. Much of the house is outside with a covered logia.
The design doctor ordered the 1st prescription for the house- retooling but not gutting. The clients wanted to be living and functioning in the home by November 1st with permits the construction began in August. The KitchenLab Interiors (KLI) team began design in May so it was a tight timeline! KLI phased the project and did a partial renovation on all guest baths. They waited to do the master bath until May. The home includes 7 bathrooms + the master. All existing plumbing fixtures were Waterworks so KLI kept those along with some tile but brought in Tabarka tile. The designers wanted to bring in vintage hacienda Spanish with a small European influence- the opposite of Miami modern. One of the ways they were able to accomplish this was with terracotta flooring that has patina. KLI set out to create a boutique hotel where each bath is similar but different. Every detail was designed with the guest in mind- they even designed a place for suitcases.

Oxygaisne DécorationLes clients voulez créer dans leur bureau, une chambre d'appoint pour recevoir leur famille et leurs amis. Mon travail à été de les aider à décorer, meubler et éclairer cette pièce. Leur choix à été de partir sur une ambiance "Jungle/Exotique" pour le style décoratif.

J'avais envie d'une ambiance propice aux rêves et aux voyages.
un papier peint jungle dans des teintes sourdes traité comme une aquarelle permet de poser le décor; L'applique singe de chez Seletti ajoute une touche d'exotisme . La combinaison lit, tête de lit , dressing est traitée en gris et rose poudrée soulignée de rose terracotta. J ai pris le parti de m'appuyer sur cette dernière teinte Terracotta pour le linge de lit et la suspension qui donne une touche très féminine avec son aspect bohème.

Archy'sCette chambre de 25m² paraissait bien vide même avec un lit king size. Monica voulait créer une ambiance plus chaleureuse néanmoins élégante et originale. Nous avons opté pour un lit pont avec plus de placards qu'elle n'espérait et une ambiance jungle exotique très tendance pour un budget maîtrisé.

Optim'Home DécoProjet de création de fenêtres de toit dans une pièce aveugle (suite parentale), et création d'une cloison pour l'isoler du pallier.
La décoration a été remise au goût du jour avec un papier peint panoramique sur un thème tropical noir et blanc.
Daisy D DécoSuite à une visite conseil associée à une planche d'ambiance, ma cliente a réussi à complétement changer le style de sa chambre.
Nous avons conservé les poutraisons au naturel qui encadrent parfaitement le lit et apportent beaucoup de cachet à la pièce.
Pour renforcer le style exotique, un papier peint feuillage est positionné en tête de lit, il est complété par un aplat de peinture bleu canard sur certains murs.
Un espace salon très cosy est aménagé dans l'espace devant l'un des dressing et des luminaires aux matières naturelles viennent ajouter leur chaleur à l'ambiance bohème.
