Création d'une cave à vin dans un espace très réduit. Le sol a été recouvert de gravier blanc, les murs encadrant le meuble ont été couverts de pierre grise avec quelques tonalités de beige. Le mur du fond a été enduit dans une teinte brique. Le meuble en chêne que nous avons dessiné a été fabriqué sur mesure par un artisan ébéniste. Le plafond a également ét recouvert de chêne. La lumière a été intégrée au meuble afin de mettre en valeur les bouteilles de vin.

This striking bespoke wine cellar, designed by Studio212 Ltd within a New England & Cape Cod–inspired home, transforms the under-stair area into a feature of both elegance and practicality. Custom oak joinery with integrated LED lighting highlights the bottles, while framed glass doors give the installation a gallery-like quality. The layout includes cross shelves for horizontal bottle storage, open shelving for spirits, and a dedicated wine fridge for temperature-sensitive collections. This design maximises space while elevating the entrance hall into a showcase — blending craftsmanship, lifestyle, and architectural detailing in one refined statement.

The award-winning Jack’s Point is our new display home at the HomeQuest Village in Bella Vista. At the 2023 HIA awards, Horizon Homes won both Display Home of the Year, and Best Display Home in its category - Display Homes over $1m. When we built this home, we wanted a design that would be contemporary, but still fit comfortably in the traditional style streetscapes of the suburbs that we typically build in – the North Shore, Northern Beaches and Canada Bay areas. The natural finishes of timber, stone and metal gives this home an organic look and feel. The façade design and finishes provide the beautiful mix of material choices. Modern brickwork meshes with charred hardwood timber cladding, castellated style garage door, and a first-floor natural garden bed. Natural American Oak timber flooring leads from the entry lead to the lounge, which features an impressive yet functional wall-hung fireplace with an exposed metal flue. The staircase provides a wonderful aesthetic but also acts to create distinct spaces in an otherwise open space. It is constructed from American Oak treads, steel and glass and allows natural light through to the living areas. Large format porcelain tiles provide a seamless finish to the remaining living areas and carry through to the alfresco kitchen and dining area. The kitchen and pantry provide beautifully finished modern workspaces with the mix of marble / granite and Corian finishes. The marble fluting on the island ends elevates the benchtop from the purely practical, to an elegant design feature. As with all Horizon Homes builds, the alfresco area was important. It has been designed to enhance natural light in the home, as well as providing flexible living spaces. The upper floor comprises of four bedrooms, main bathrooms, two ensuites and a private lounge space adjacent to the master bedroom. This overlooks the rooftop garden bed. The feature panelling to all bedrooms and hallway that so caught the judges’ attention provide this home with the warm cosy feel. Like all of our custom designs, the display home was designed to maximise quality light, airflow and space for the block it was built on. Large underground wine cellar for a private home in East Sussex, UK. The wine room is filled with a combination of individual bottle racking, display racks, storage cubes, work surfaces and slide out shelves for case racks, all of which are made from solid pine with an oak. The wine room in total can store over 1000 bottles.

The simple vision to open up this old home in Weston to add an extra bedroom, ensuite, and garage, has resulted in a superb extension, and entire house renovation. The home was extended out to the side, to include two new bedrooms, an ensuite and walk-in robe, built over a new double garage, whilst the internal remodeling saw the complete opening up of the kitchen, dining and living areas. The living area flows onto a new deck and pergola that overlooks stuning gardens, including a fire-pit and semi-round, stone clad seating area. Designed and built with the clients love of entertaining in mind, the house also features a custom built wine cellar with bold, double glazed, black doors off the dining area, as well as a built-in gas fireplace, and a beautiful, open kitchen, with a large, uninterrupted island bench. The build was structurally complex, with the added challenge of unseasonal rain adding to the already large amount of excavation required to achieve the lower-level garage. Throughout the build, New Spaces worked closely with architect Zok Designs and engineers to maximise the structural integrity of the extension and the existing home, and provide the owners with additional garage storage. New Spaces worked closely with the owners throughout the build to accomodate a large number of design and finish changes, as well as scope changes, to ensure that we delivered a polished, turn-key house that our clients are now so proud to call their home.

A deeply personal, luxurious cigar lounge that exceeded expectations and feels as good as it looks.

The basement wine cellar sits directly below the home office, viewed through the glass floor. Within the space, natural Oak wine racking stores 2,382 bottles including 104 magnums, 4 double magnums and 6 double champagne magnums – a fine wine collection!
