Brittany Stiles DesignInterior design by Brittany Stiles. This is the dining room of a home in Newport Beach, California. This is a cozy modern space with interesting contemporary artwork, custom wood furnishings, custom upholstery, and vintage accessories to warm up the space. The dining table features a custom walnut bench to match the table and white modern chairs on the opposite side.

The Interior EdgeGarden Sun Room Aurbach Mansion:
This room was restored for a designer show house. We had hand painted murals done for the walls by William "Bill" Riley (rileycreative1@mac.com). They depict walking paths in a wondrous sculpture garden with flowers lining your every step. The champagne metallic molding was added at the top to increase the feeling of intimacy. The Ralph Lauren midnight blue ceiling helped to create a cozy space day or night. There are verde marble floors throughout. The ottoman is Mackenzie Childs. Antique pillows from The Martin Group.

Francois & CoThe overall modern look of the Modena mantel - with its simple form and lack of ornamentation is offset by the swelling shape of its shelf. The loose, softly curved shelf expands the design and adds an unexpected softness to the piece.
The Brooklyn Home CompanyThe 3rd floor studio apartment offered a great space for TBHCo designers to show how you can fit all you need into one space. Fully staged with custom furniture by the designers and styled to show how to utilize this great space.
Shea Studio Interiors, IncMy client wanted some wall units built in so she could display some art pottery that she collects. Her husband plays many musical instruments. Instead of the "same ole, same ole" why not create art with the build in to house the art displayed? The beautiful guitar was trimmed with abalone and turquoise and was beautiful and I thought it should be seen and admired so I created a guitar shaped niche with bookmatched grain surround and spotlight. The shelves were various sizes and shapes to accomodate a variety of artifacts. A couple of feature shapes were also lit.
Keep Smiling HomeOur 1917 home had plenty of character but a serious lack of storage, especially for books and our ever expanding collection of National Geographic magazines. These built ins are not only practical but also make the room seem much more lived in. Bonus? Guests always comment that they look like they've always been there!

All white/neutral upholstery is tempered with the use of textures and wood. A custom game table has cup holder pull-outs to keep the card playing surface free of clutter. The bookshelves boast a collection of found items, family photos and books.
