How do you get rid of the strong stained smell

I bought a vanity and it has a really strong smell I aired it outside for several weeks but it still has a strong smell I also put boxes of baking soda in hoping it would absorb the smell but it hasn't. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I really want to order another one but not until I know I can get rid of smell. Thanks so much!
