Roofline height

Hi,

Just wondering how high the top roof ridge ended up being from ground level (say the bottom of the garage door)?
I'm looking at doing something similar to 4 level split house but not sure if I'll end up being taller than what the zoning rules allow in my area.

    The ridge of the main roof is about 35'-9" above the ground plane, at the garage doors. In this locality, the maximum roof height is 35'-0" above average grade. BUT, it is measured to the median of roof, i.e. the midpoint between the soffit/eave and the ridge. So, we actually had a stated height of 27'-6".
