Odd, my recent 2018-2019 experience, review with Cumar has been removed. They have a B team and a C team only - Installers cracked material, installed it anyway only to have to hammer it all out and replace it - after I begged owner to do it. They sent 1 guy to install a large cooktop marble surround, not only did he require the GC to assist with install, it didn't fit. The GC had to ultimately render the cooktop mockup because installers were twice incapable of rendering a true mock up. Thus involving multiple trips to the site, installer chipped wood counter during install. Fireplace surround on masonry fpl cracked - GC questioned Cumar PM only to be told - (limestone) "well, it's brittle". would have been great to have been told this during the selection process - however, I suspect it was an install crack that showed up a month later. I'd planned to approve them for the additional work on the job, appx $150,000, but we all agreed we best move on.

We worked with Cumar on a Residential Project last year and to say they met expectations would be an understatement. Cumar helped meet tight deadlines, their design team did an amazing job of providing real images of the slab cuts for the countertops, and they collaborated with the team to help bring the project together. Highly recommended.

I have worked with Cumar on many of my design projects. Dawn Carrol is my go to person there and she makes the entire process seem effortless. Dawns knowledge of the stone business is limitless. The entire process when selecting and installing stone through Cumar has never been anything but a pleasure. I also need to mention that Cumar has the most extensive inventory of marbles, granites, limestones and rare stone in the north east. Cumar will always be my go to resource for stone and installation for all of my design projects!

The whole crew at Cumar was professional, helpful, and full of creative solutions for our large scale residential project. Dawn went out of her way to make a long distance project run smoothly and with little for us to worry about. Cumar has an extensive supply of stone, marble, and granite and it is always a treat to visit their showroom and warehouse to find new inspiration!
