Nathan Taylor for Obelisk HomeThis newly built Old Mission style home gave little in concessions in regards to historical accuracies. To create a usable space for the family, Obelisk Home provided finish work and furnishings but in needed to keep with the feeling of the home. The coffee tables bunched together allow flexibility and hard surfaces for the girls to play games on. New paint in historical sage, window treatments in crushed velvet with hand-forged rods, leather swivel chairs to allow “bird watching” and conversation, clean lined sofa, rug and classic carved chairs in a heavy tapestry to bring out the love of the American Indian style and tradition.

Marnella HomesFrom the entry, the rear yard outdoor living experience can be viewed through the open bi-fold door system. 14 ceilings and clerestory windows create a light and open experience in the great room, kitchen and dining area. Sandstone surrounds the fireplace from floor to ceilings. Walnut cabinetry balances either side of fireplace.
Alison Giese InteriorsA prior great room addition was made more open and functional with an optimal seating arrangement, flexible furniture options. The brick wall ties the space to the original portion of the home, as well as acting as a focal point.
Howard Katz Architects LLCSunroom addition leads off the family room which is adjacent to the kitchen as viewed through the french doors. On entering the house one can see all the way back through these doors to the garden beyond. The existing recessed porch was enclosed and walls removed to form the family room space.

Jessica MeisterWe hired the owners of My Sister's Garage of Windham, Maine to decorate the entire house with a mixture of vintage, repurposed, new, and custom design elements to achieve a classic, campy vibe with a luxury feel.
The brand new Pottery Barn Turner square arm leather sectional in maple is perfectly complemented by this custom live edge coffee table, vintage trunk nightstand and the AMAZING vintage oar installation off of the loft.
UserThis entry/living room features maple wood flooring, Hubbardton Forge pendant lighting, and a Tansu Chest. A monochromatic color scheme of greens with warm wood give the space a tranquil feeling.
