Designs by CherylTransitional family room is tranquil and inviting The blue walls with luscious furnishings make it very cozy. The gold drum chandelier and gold accents makes this room very sophisticated. The decorative pillows adds pop of colors with the custom area rug. The patterns in the custom area rug and pillows, along with the blue walls makes it all balance. The off white rustic console adds flare and a perfect size for large Media wall T.V. The gold console lamps frames the Media center perfect. The gold floor lamps, and and gold chandelier brings a contemporary style into this space. The Large square ottoman in a neutral grey offsetting the carpet color makes it nice to prop up your feet. The gold drink tables in quite trendy and so functional and practical.

Well, not this one! When I purchased this floating home from my aunt and uncle, I didn’t know about floats and stringers and other issues specific to floating homes. Nor had I really thought about the hassle of an out of state remodel. Believing that I was up for the challenge, I grabbed my water wings, sketchpad, and measuring tape and jumped right in!

Pinnacle Design & RemodelingA referral from an awesome client lead to this project that we paired with Tschida Construction.
We did a complete gut and remodel of the kitchen and powder bathroom and the change was so impactful.
We knew we couldn't leave the outdated fireplace and built-in area in the family room adjacent to the kitchen so we painted the golden oak cabinetry and updated the hardware and mantle.
The staircase to the second floor was also an area the homeowners wanted to address so we removed the landing and turn and just made it a straight shoot with metal spindles and new flooring.
The whole main floor got new flooring, paint, and lighting.
Making Room for PeaceWhen it came to the mantel we kept it fairly simple, opting for a round, rattan mirror, some greenery, glass bottles, and vintage books. The overall effect is calming, coastal and timeless.
