ACM InteriorsThe formal living area in this Brooklyn brownstone once had an awful marble fireplace surround that didn't properly reflect the home's provenance. Sheetrock was peeled back to reveal the exposed brick chimney, we sourced a new mantel with dental molding from architectural salvage, and completed the surround with green marble tiles in an offset pattern. The chairs are Mid-Century Modern style and the love seat is custom-made in gray leather. Custom bookshelves and lower storage cabinets were also installed, overseen by antiqued-brass picture lights.

Nous avons fait rentrer la nature environnante en conseillant un papier-peint végétal, foncé, sur lequel vient s'adosser un long canapé ultra-confort. Le rose du tapis adoucit et illumine le mur foncé et le parquet ancien. Deux petites tables élégantes contre-balancent le volume imposant du canapé. Domus NovaTruly unique, this captivating seven-bedroom family home is a visual feast of arresting colours, textures, finishes and striking architecture – fortified by a playful nod to bygone design quirks like the 60s-style sunken seating area.
Jessica MeisterWe wanted to take the open loft above the living room and turn it into a functional space that took advantage of the amazing views overlooking the lake. Since this is an investment property used for vacation rentals, extra beds are always welcome, so we used the nook area for a full-sized futon, that doubles as an additional seating/reading area. This space also features an additional conversation seating area, a fully stocked bookshelf, and a small desk, and printer to create a business center for guests.
My Sister's Garage spruced up the space with some great vintage and salvage accents, a repainted vintage coffee table, desk, and chair, and some custom throw pillows.

Stark CarpetA zebra hide and a Somali Panther cut-pile runner take the black and white accents in Peter Rogers’s apple green entry hall, designed by Rogers and Carl Palasota, in an exotic direction.
Modern Traditions Interior Design LLCThis room just needed a fresh coat of paint to update it. Located immediately to the left of the new bright entryway and within eyesight of the rich blue dining room. We selected a green from the oriental rug that also highlights the painting over the fireplace.
