Giselle Ulmo Design
The layering of elements, art, and furniture creates an eclectic yet modern master suite. We centered the windows with a black feature wall that housed a fireplace. The sculpture red lounge is perfect for sitting by the fire and relaxing by the window. The ceiling feather light makes a statement.

Bamboo floors' popularity has increased over the past few years as people have become more aware of the fragile state of the environment. Because it is a grass rather than a wood, it grows far more quickly than a tree. The plant's extensive root system continually grows underground and it replenishes itself naturally, as grass does.
New growth, which springs out of the ground and can mature up to 24" in 24 hours and unlike trees, bamboo will regenerate quickly, making it a renewable resource.
Main Street Renovations
In our son's bedroom, we wanted to do a fun accent wall. We were shopping online for fun wallpaper and came across a graffiti wallpaper mural that he liked. Unfortunately, it was too small for the wall. I decided to buy some paint and give it a try myself. It was a fun project and ended up more personalized.
Sundance Colors
In this MD's bedroom we put a soothing green on the wall. A complementary color to the beautiful Tibetan Tanka and Etruscan art collection. The curtain color was made to harmonize with the artwork.

The mural continues into the master bath with closet mirrors reflecting the corner to create a graphic, 3D view. (Evidently, the color-coordinated Cockapoo was more interested in being the primary decor.) Photos by Jane C. Gates
