The introduction of wall sconces draw the eye around the room. The palette, soft buttery tones infused with andulsian greens, and understated furnishings submit and support the quietness of the space. The low-country elegance of the room is further expressed through the use of natural materials, textured fabrics and hand-block prints. A wool/silk area rug underscores the elegance of the room.

Work included extensive stone, casework, light and plumbing fixtures installations, AV upgrades, and refinishing throughout. Includes seven bedrooms, seven full baths, two half-baths, conservatory, library, basement with wine cellar, pool house and pool, garden house, and play structure.
Melanie Stewart DesignsThis living room received a refresh when the outdated corner fireplace was removed, which opened up the room and allowed for a more flexible layout. A new gas fireplace was installed, along with two sidelight windows to enhance the natural light and exterior landscaping. The walls and ceilings were smoothed, and crown molding and trim was added to give the room a clean, but polished look.
The palette were kept neutral so the room would have a cohesive feel throughout, while the textures add interest.
